Transforming Lives and Deepening Callings

When we partnered with Ends Cycling for a prayer and fundraiser event to support Ukrainian youth, none of us fully anticipated the ripple effects it would create. One beautiful result of this support was the launch of a worship school—an experience that went beyond just learning songs.

Anyone Who Welcomes You, Welcomes Me…

For many years Luke, a missionary from Maryland working for the Prosperous Youth Foundation (PYF), and “Boy”, a Thai youth leader also working with PYF, have been praying and dreaming about bringing the Gospel to Boy’s village.  Boy was born and raised in this mountain village in Thailand and is the only Christian connected to this community.  Boy’s creativity and winsome kindness is unmatched, and his reputation and years of positive influence in this village made a way for us.  As we engaged with villagers, the mere mention of Boy’s name inspired confidence and open doors.

Serving in India for 20 years

In 2022, Ends Cycling celebrated our millionth dollar raised by hosting a Gala in Ft. Myers, FL.  One of the people in attendance at our Gala was Stephen Raj Moses.  Stephen grew up in India, and when we met him, we saw such a passion to reach young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This dear brother is such a gift to me, and his presence with us that night brings me to a testimony I’m excited to share with you.

We are Ambassadors for Christ… On Wheels… Part 2

This December, we are excited to introduce you to the rest of our 2024 Ends of the Earth Cycling Ambassadors. These are 13 remarkable friends of the ministry who are out serving in unique ways – making much of Jesus on and off the bike – inviting others to #PrayPedalRepeat with us. Their stories of why they ride are incredible.

A DEEPER FOCUS ON MISSION WORK

Thanks to the support of Ends Cycling, our church community was able to take a group of young people to Denpasar, Indonesia. The seed planted through the Ends Cycling funds dared us to take a step of faith and dream that our young people could have the opportunity to see firsthand the global work of the church. Exposing our young people to such instrumental community ministries that their church family supports was transformational for the lives and faiths of many of our young people on the trip.

The Faithful Farmers

Kathleen and I want to thank you for your support from the 2022 Break Every Chain Virtual Bike Ride, which enabled us to build a dormitory for youth. In just the last three months, 239 teens have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Zambia is experiencing the worst drought in forty-years. We are also teaching them survival skills through Farming God’s Way, how to sustain a family of six even in challenging times of drought.

Zoya, Nepal and RAGBRAI

Zoya narrowly escaped being trafficked when her parents were approached with a proposition: a couple was looking to purchase a girl to be their daughter. Traffickers frequently use tactics like these to prey upon desperate families. They trick girls and their parents and then sell those girls into slavery.

We are Ambassadors for Christ… On Wheels…

“We are ambassadors for Christ!” (1 Corinthians 5:20) This August, we are excited to introduce you to our 2024 Ends of the Earth Cycling Ambassadors. They have been featured on our social media channels, and now they will be featured on the Stories of Impact Blog in two installments. These are 13 remarkable friends of the ministry who are out serving in unique ways – making much of Jesus on and off the bike – inviting others to #PrayPedalRepeat with us.

Transforming A Bar Into A Church

We live in a broken world where it’s too east to find individuals who are lost, searching, and without hope. In the action sports world (surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding) this couldn’t be more true. The action sports community is full of negativity: drugs, alcohol, partying, and rebellion. Roughly 120 million youth around the globe are a part of the action sports community. For our friends at Ride Nature, this is their mission field.

A Virtual What?

God can work through the strangest of things… If you were to ask me, “What is a Virtual Bike Ride?” you would not be the first. I had heard of riding indoors because it is snowing outside, but a virtual bike ride that impacts youth around the world? Who knew that was a thing!
