Ride Nature Brazil

Ride Nature was born out of a deep conviction that action sports can be more than just a hobby or pastime. Sports and activities like surfing or skateboarding are powerful tools to share the Gospel, build and cultivate community, and open doors across different cultures with the ultimate goal of sharing the truth and hope of Jesus. What began as a dream in 2009 to blend faith, creativity, and action sports has grown into a global movement shaping lives, cities, and cultures. 

Ride Nature is a nonprofit mission organization that exists to train, equip, and mobilize leaders to impact the world through action sports. Since 2009, Ride Nature has stepped foot in more than 60 nations bringing the Gospel and hope to hundreds of thousands of youth. We have been honored and blessed to give away over 10,000 skateboards each carrying the message of the Gospel and being put in the hand of a child who may have never had the opportunity to skateboard. Our hope is that we can continue to inspire a global movement that will multiply leaders far beyond anything we have hoped or imagined. 

Boasting a population of over 8,000,000 skateboarders and more than 2,000 public skateparks, our heart has been burdened for the action sports community of Brazil for some time. Currently there is a new skatepark being built every single week in Brazil and no plans of slowing down. Action sports are embedded in the culture of Brazil and it is because of this that we are praying and hoping to see a permanent Ride Nature headquarters established in this part of the world. 

The growing culture and action sports population creates access to both those in need of the Gospel and a large population of leaders that we pray can be mobilized to be missionaries both in their local context and abroad. We are currently in the process of casting vision, working toward building a leadership team, and identifying the right location in Brazil to put down permanent roots and establish a HQ. 

For us at Ride Nature, our headquarters are more than just ministry offices. Our HQ’s are homes for local impact in the community, a space to train and equip others, a business as mission template, and a launching pad to serve the region in which they exist. It is out of these spaces that we operate our 6-month discipleship training school, facilitate local outreach efforts, operate business as mission strategies that are used to also train church planters, and from these locations we serve the area/communities in our region. This is our vision and hope for Brazil. 

Jesus says in Luke 10:2, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” We would like to invite you to PRAY WITH US. Above any financial needs, we need the right leadership. We need men and women with Godly character, experience in leadership, and a heart to reach the action sports community both in Brazil and beyond. We know these leaders exist and we ultimately pray that God will lead them to our organization. Second, finances are needed to see this vision come to life. Money to establish the organization, buy facilities, vehicles, etc. Your support through this project will help to make this all possible. 

While there is a large catholic population in Brazil, there is a shift and revival taking place in the protestant church. Youth are hungry for truth and searching for identity, purpose, and hope. Our prayer is that from the harvest of new believers and the equipping of those already committed to serving the Lord, Brazil will be a hub that sends leaders to all of South America and to the ENDS of the earth. 

The current timeline and vision for the launch of a new base in Brazil is that by the end of 2026 we will have identified the community and leadership and will be prepared for a soft launch by 2027. We believe your support via this Break Every Chain Event will help make this happen.
